In the first quarter of this year, Shandong's investment in strategic emerging industries increased by 11.2%, 6 percentage points higher than the total investment. High-quality elements were concentrated to support the cultivation and growth of 32 strategic emerging industrial clusters at or above the provincial level, with a total scale of 3.2 trillion yuan.

By continuously improving infrastructure construction in the aerospace field and stepping up efforts to attract high-quality enterprises and projects, Shandong has successfully seized the opportunity for the rapid development of the aerospace industry. It is gradually establishing a complete aerospace industry ecosystem and attracting more upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to settle in Shandong. Currently, Shandong is accelerating the development of 15 provincial-level future industrial clusters to foster new growth drivers in the fields of aerospace information, quantum science and technology, virtual reality, and hydrogen energy storage.

As a crucial engine for developing new quality productive forces, artificial intelligence is of great significance to empowering the digital transformation of industries. According to the data released in the first quarter, Shandong Province has achieved remarkable results in the integration of digital technology and the real economy. The coverage rate of digital transformation for industrial enterprises above the designated size has reached 87.3%. At this year's Two Sessions, "artificial intelligence+" was incorporated into the Report on the Work of the Government for the first time. Shandong Province is actively embracing this new segment.
